INTENT:
The purpose of the application is to rezone the parcel in question from C1 – Neighbourhood Commercial to C2 – General Commercial. The purpose is to provide a larger amount of business uses that may be tenants in the building to fill upcoming vacancies.
CURRENT SITUATION:
The site currently houses a gas station, convenience store, restaurant, daycare facility, and a vacant bay. All are located within the same building footprint.
PROPOSED SITUATION:
The rezoning application does not intend for any redevelopment to occur at this time, meaning the building will not be destroyed or rebuilt.
